1.3.0 Slime Shopping Introduction

In this project, we will begin to see how we can use Python to make everyday chores easier. In this program, we are giving you a slime recipe and you will use python to create a shopping list together with pricing information.

Slime Recipe

Ingredients per tub:

• 2 Bottles Elmer's Glue ($0.99 per bottle)
• 1 tsp Borax ($0.49 per teaspoon)
• 1.5 cups water ($0.00 per cup)

Other Materials (one-time purchase):

• Glitter Shakers ($5.23)
• Vinegar ($0.44)
• Food Coloring ($1.98)

Important Notes:

• No matter how many tubs you make, you only need to buy 1 container of glitter, vinegar, and food coloring.
• You can cast a number to a float using float(number), just like string(number) or int(number)
